In the ‘60s, an FM radio-fueled revolution in politics, sex, and drugs shook America to its roots. In San Francisco, former AM disk jockey Tom Donahue launched KSAN. In New York, deejays like Scott Muni jumped to the FM side of the dial. And the Counterculture listened. But after Woodstock, FM radio grew as deejays’ freedom shrank – stations were gobbled up by corporations that dictated politics and playlists. In 2004, Rock Jocks was screened with a panel discussion to a standing-room-only audience at The Museum of Television & Radio in New York
